Sue Shin, a native of South Korea, is a teacher and pianist. She performs actively in solo and chamber recitals. Ms. Shin recently graduated with her Artist Certificate in Piano Performance at Georgia State University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in church music (piano performance) from Korea Baptist Theological University in Daejeon, Korea. She earned her first master’s degree in Piano Performance from Lee University and received her second master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy from the Georgia State University. Ms. Shin was awarded a Graduate Teaching Assistantship at GSU, working as a accompanist and a piano class teacher. She received the prestigious Dean’s Award at GSU.
“My goal of teaching is not only teaching musical skills and technique but, introducing music as God’s gift to the students. I strive to teach the students to play and perform for His glory”.
