Min Won

Violin Instructor

About Me

Min Won received her Master of Art Degree in Orchestra Conducting from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, and Bachelor of Art Degree in Violin Performance from Sejong University of Seoul Korea. She played violin in the Korean Philharmonic Orchestra, and in the UTC Orchestra. She has directed and conducted orchestra and taught violin and music theory in elementary and middle schools since 2002. She implemented her process of establishing orchestra programs in four schools, bringing an appreciation of music to many new students.

Finding acceptance in her loving, forgiving Savior, Min gains strength for everything in life from Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. Especially in times of confusion or hardship, she has peace in the direction of her life from 1 Chronicles 25:6 – All these were under the direction of their father to sing in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, harps and lyres, for the service of the house of God.

Min’s mission to her students is to use the musical talents received from God as a tool to show His love and the beauty of His creation.
